It all begins with an idea.
I am currently VP, Banking at RBCx, where I support high-growth technology companies with tailored financial solutions and strategic guidance. My work with company founders bridges venture capital and banking, helping founders navigate fundraising, scaling challenges, and capital deployment.
Previously, I spent close to a decade making seed-stage venture investments in high-potential technology startups spanning B2B SaaS, digital health, FinTech, AI/ML, NLP, CPM, insurance, retail, construction, supply chain and logistics, IoT, HR, marketing, video telematics, genomics, surgical devices, and more. I have deployed capital into scores of companies and have served as an observer on over a dozen boards.
Beyond investing, I am an active startup advisor with organizations like Next Canada, Antler, and OneEleven. I hold regular office hours to advise founders on business strategy, corporate development, product, unit economics, market segmentation, financing strategy, and more.
I have worked with both hardware and software across sectors ranging from enterprise cloud development to healthcare hardware financing. As a business strategist and corporate finance engineer by training, I have led large-scale projects focused on creating value through the digitization of legacy processes in Europe and North America.
Additionally, I teach the graduate Venture Capital and Private Equity course at the Schulich School of Business.
